In a marketing ploy to appeal to
both genders D. Geller & Son Jewelers are giving away a couples massage with
the purchase wedding bands this week.
Later in the month they plan to give
away hunting rifles with purchases greater than $2499. The latter made national
news.
Both marketing strategies are loaded
with concepts from our textbook such as: socialization, social class, gender,
family and marriage and more.
